Blog Trail Tuesday - Lots of Blog Love

Photobucket

This is a brand new blogger in the homeschool world. I thought I'd reach out and give her some blog love.

Home Schooling Wasn't the Plan

This next blog is fun. I honestly don't remember how I found her. I have a slight Superman Obsession (my Blogger profile says, "I am Supermom. Okay...I try") so I thought her blog was adorable! Her name is Amanda too so that gives her more cool points. She's another busy mom, just like myself, trying to keep her sense of humor while balancing all the different roles we mom's play.

Confessions o fa Wannabe Supermom

So visit these ladies and share the blog love. If you want to join in on all this lovin' visit Melissa at Coffee With Me and link up!

Today's blog trail will take you to Tech Talk for Moms.

Some girls like flowers or jewelry. I like LOVE techie gear. I have been enjoying the new product reviews from a mom's point of view. I live at my computer. It's my very best friend in the whole wide world. I use it for social networking, educating myself and my children, keeping up with current events, and organizing everything in my life.

Blog Trail Tuesday

Today's Share a Blog goes to Heidi at Bootcamp for Lousy Housekeepers. I haven't read her book yet, but I do keep up with her work days of the week. And I read her blog regularly.

Photobucket
Monday - Laundry Day
Tuesday - Town Day
Wednesday - Kitchen Day
Thursday - Office Day
Friday - Cleaning Day
Saturday - Garden Day

Following these days, helps me pace myself. The housework gets done over time. Somedays Laundry Day overlaps Town Day. But the bulk of the Laundry was done on Monday. It's a really good feeling. And sometimes I'll put something off till the right day. Last week I needed to make butter and laundry soap. I put it off until Kitchen Day. Otherwise, I get too sidetracked and don't focus on what needs to be done that day. I like the routine it gives us.

My kids like knowing what chores we will focus on each day. Sometimes, they will even get up and get started on their part. They know once school and work is done, they have the rest of the day for free time.

Heidi shares some great tips and ideas for homemaking on her blog. It's also a fun little blog with a cute layout. Check her out! I can't wait to order her book!

Now it’s your turn!

Rich Davis has a neat blog:  http://richdavis1.wordpress.com/. The kids and I have had fun reading through his old posts and trying out his drawing techniques.

I found this blog when I was looking at a pretty cool game called Pick and Draw created by Rich Davis. It looks like a lot of fun and it's right up our alley. We love games. Especially games we can play and count as school work.

This blog is written by Lou and Emms who knit, garden, and cook. I found their blog when I was looking for posts about container gardens. While, I've mostly benefited from the gardening posts I have several knitting projects bookmarked for the future.

PhotobucketHere's the challenge:

Write a post in your blog about a blog that appeals to or inspires you. Comment on this post and link me to YOUR post about the blog. Easy! Happy blog hunting!

This blog is new to me in the last week. I've spent many long hours reading over it and making changes to my blog. I've learned so much about HTML and CSS code. I hope you like the changes I've made. It was hard work at first but now it comes much easier.

So THANK YOU AMANDA at Bloggerbuster! For putting all the hard labor into teaching people for free! I've had a fun time learning from you and I'll be watching your site for new updates.

Some of the changes you might notice:
  • a navigational menu bar  (whoohoo!)
  • a favicon in my address bar instead of the Blogger B
  • fancy ribbons and swirlies next to my post titles and widget titles (sidebar---->)
  • a customized (all by myself) header
  • 3-column footer
  • widgets that only appear on specific pages
