Home on the Range
The driving range that is.
I took the kids out to take pics of Leon at school.
The kids were hilarious. While Leon was doing his pre-trip inspection the kids were following him around doing exactly what he did. If he jiggled something to see if it was loose, they did the same. It was so adorable!
I am so proud of my husband. He has really worked hard in school and has made exceedingly good grades!! So much to learn in just a few weeks! He's done a fabulous job!

Visit with Friends
We went to visit our new friends, the Jacobs.
Tawna invited us for this wonderful feast. Everything she cooked was fabulous!
She even surprised me with the infamous, homemade from scratch, chocolate and peanut butter cake for my birthday. And this was hands down the bestest cake I have ever had in my entire life!!
They even sang "Happy Birthday" to me. My husband is so attentive...
Have I mentioned that this cake was the bestest I ever had?

Moving But Where?
Option A:
It's a lovely ranch style home. Plenty of land to run, paved 2 car driveway, a very nice carport, and hardwood floors throughout.
The house is old and in need of alot of repair before we can move in.
Option B:
A lovely little townhome. Nice big back deck. Nice quiet little community.
The yard is roomy, though not very big. We would not have to keep up the lawn.
It is right in the middle of town. There isn't a whole lot of traffic on this street but it's right off a main road...Main St. to be exact.
It's practically brand new and move-in ready.
Stay tuned to see if the family will choose

We've been house hunting for the last few weeks. So tonight, like many nights lately, we had dinner at McDonald's.

Jeremiah Funny
Jeremiah comes up to me today and asks so seriously, "Mama, did the Confedruts get back their silver?"

Happy Birthday To Me
We bought my early birthday present!
Isn't it devine?
We got rid of our old (read very old) king size bed and got this wonderful, luxurious, queen size bed. It makes our room feel so much larger!
The mattress is from The Original Mattress Factory. They make THE BEST in the whole wide world! And I'm not getting paid to say that.
I have slept like a baby ever since it arrived on Tuesday. I didn't get paid to say that either.
Of course with going to a different sized mattress we had to get new bedding. So we went to Bed Bath and Beyond. They had a pretty good clearance going on. So we were able to get everything we needed from them and stay within budget.
I'm feeling so stinkin' spoiled!

Princess Pepper
We've had to update our baby's equipment. It's very hard to keep up with her when we let her run loose through the house. I'm afraid she's going to hurt herself. And not only that, I think the freedom was going to her head. She was getting quite ornery.
So how else do you set limits for an active, curious, and sometimes destructive baby?
You put her in a playpen.
Notice that there are 2 potties. Bunnies don't have very strong bladders.
I love that her cage opens up to the playpen. We give her 4 hours a day of playtime. And Princess Pepper is so content now. She begs us to pet her and even likes to be picked up every now and again (as long as we don't overdo it).
