For all of my married life (almost 12 year!) we've had a fake tree. Not necessarily the same fake tree, but artificial all the same. We have always been hesitant because of fear of fire. However, I've always loved the smell and sight of a real tree.
This year, Leon splurged and got me a real tree! Our first! He got it up in the stand in under 10 minutes! I think we are both finding it to be much easier than caring for a fake tree. Even vacuuming the needles doesn't bother me. It makes my vacuum cleaner smell so fresh and clean!

Your tree is beautiful!!! I love a fresh tree but I am allergic to Frasier Firs.
