Leon decided to take the kids to the Durham 4th of July celebration. The city lets off it's fireworks from the Durham Bulls Stadium. There aren't any great places to park and watch. Unless you buy tickets to the baseball game and watch from the stands. Mostly people pull right off the highway and park on the medians and shoulders.

The family unanimously agreed that small town Butner did it better. Butner's show was long and the finale was great. Durham's show was only 5 minutes long and the finale was so-so. It is a surprising outcome considering city population.
Beautiful fireworks! Glad Leon got to spend some time with the kids.
