Cub Scouts on Parade

We were in 2 Christmas parades on the same day; Creedmoor's and Butner's. They kids had a blast but I was whooped.

Creedmoor Christmas Parade:

Instead of throwing candy this year, a local toy store donated toys for the kids to toss to the crowd. The toys were in the trunk of the car in front of them.


This dog was a hoot! She was so proud to be dressed in red.



The kids were in the beginning of the parade so they finished in plenty of time to catch some loot.



Butner Christmas Parade:









These people were hilarious!! They are called the Amran Hillbillies (I don't know much about them but they sure were entertaining).

St. Nicholas Day

This year the kids each got something they can make Christmas gifts with and chocolate coins. They have been having so much fun making some really neat (and useful) gifts to give this year.

Our Thanksgiving

Leon didn't make it in to town like we had hoped, but he did make it home on Sunday and we celebrated Thanksgiving on Monday.

The kids and I make a "All the reasons we are thankful for you" chain for him. He loved it. It's hanging in his truck lol.



We were so thrilled when he came home. We missed him so much!



Here is our Thanksgiving Feast. It was so yummy! Everyone worked hard to make this meal perfect!
