Friday's Double Feature

Iron Man: Fantastic movie! Robert Downey Jr was much better than I thought he'd be. There were a few innuendos but they went over the younger guys' heads.



The Forbidden Kingdom: Okay. Jackie Chan is always funny. I think this is the first time I've seen Jet Li in anything but a serious role. Not as funny as I thought it would be. The fight scenes were good. The plot needed work. Leon and the kids LOVED it!



The best part?!!!! We bought tickets to see Prince Caspian next week!!! We can hardly wait!

Awana Award Night

I am so proud of my boys. They all worked so hard this year. Ishmael finished 3 books, Joshua finished 2, and Jeremiah finished his book. They really love Awana and have learned so many Bible verses.





We found out just how much of a ham Jeremiah is. He sang LOUD and PROUD for his captive audience.

Slumber Party

Leon went out of town for a few days. The kids and I decided to crash in the living room together for the 2 nights he was away.



Mostly we watched movies, ate pizza and ice cream, and I beat the kids at Blokus. We played several rounds of the game. Zerrick is determined to beat me. I'm surprised at how much they all love the game. Did I mention that I rock at this game?



It was oh so cozy.





I missed Leon terribly, but it was a nice little adventure.
