Cicada Killer Wasp

We found this in the house. We all freaked out a bit until it was D-E-A-D. Dead.




Man, get a load of that stinger!!!


After the death of said bug, we googled it. It is a cicada killer wasp.

This is what it looked like alive:


Not my picture and since I found it via Google images I don't remember it's location. If the owner of this picture would prefer I remove it, I will immediately oblige.

Given the choice, I'd take the cicadas please.
